POSITION OVERVIEW:

Toyota Certified Service Technician will diagnose vehicle service problems and make necessary repairs in a professional manner and quality. 

  • Toyota Certified technician with a minimum of 3 ASE certifications. 
  • Detailed and efficient, 2 plus years of experience with knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostic, engine, transmission, electrical, steering & suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. 
  • You continuously learn new technical information through Toyota Training and on-site training.
  • You are reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
  • You are a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
  • You are customer focused and hold yourself accountable to a high standard of high quality of work.
  • Fast paced environment and manage priorities. 
  • Update on vehicle mechanical operations.
  • Update to date on all E-Learning Toyota Modules. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform specific work on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and follow dealership standards.
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs and explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
  • Advise ASM of needed repairs with parts and labor. Advise of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order or the vehicle. 
  • Advise ASM through communication if any additional service is needed and estimate of the time required to complete repairs. 
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform quality repairs; have a "fix the vehicle right the first time" mentality.
  • Complete comprehensive documentation of cause/correction, specifications, and other pertinent information to describe repair activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience as a service technician
  • 3 ASE certifications.
  • Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
